The Cinnaminson Fire Department plans to “PAINT THE TOWN PINK” for breast cancer awareness month this October. We are looking to the community to help us support this great cause. The department will be offering pink bows to display on your home and/or business for a $5 donation. We will also be selling Cinnaminson Fire Department breast cancer ribbon lapel pins for a $5 donation. These items will be available starting the last week of September and throughout the month of October. Dates will be announced on our website and social media accounts.

This year’s fundraising efforts will also include a Dine and Donate at Sweet Water Bar & Grill. On Thursday, October 13 from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, a portion of all sales will be generously donated to our cause. There will also be a silent auction during the dine and donate that will offer some great prizes.

Funds raised this year will go towards two local charities that are near and dear to our department’s heart. The first is the Tyanna Barre O’Brien Breast Care Comfort Fund. This fund, through Virtua, provides resources to local breast cancer patients that they may not have available to them through insurance or other means. The second is a new fund this year. The Rebecca A. Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund will help local students entering EMT and Paramedic training.
