2016 Burlington County Memorial Service

Members of the Cinnaminson Fire Department participated in the Burlington County Fire and EMS Memorial Service on May 18 that recognized members of the fire and EMS services who lost their lives in the line of duty. A helmet for each deceased firefighter was placed by representatives of their respective department along with attending family members.

Pictured above are helmets memorializing Cinnaminson Firefighters Harris Shive and Raymond Lutts, both of whom died in the line of duty in the 1960’s. Helmets were placed by Lieutenant Paul McDonough and Past Chief Louis Kilmer. Also pictured is the actual helmet of Cinnaminson Fire Lieutenant Christopher Hunter who died in the line of duty on November 15, 2014. His helmet was placed by his nephew Dylan Hunter, who is a member of the department, along with the Lieutenant's mother and sister. The family was escorted by Lieutenant Dennis Staples and Firefighter James Clancy.

Please keep these brave men and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
